Bus Fare concession for attending Anna University Counseling

According to Government Press Release, students attending counseling (except Chennai District) are eligible for 50% two way concession along with a person accompanying the student for counseling  (1 + 1) in Government buses.

For availing this bus concession, students have to produce the xerox copy of Counseling Call letter to the concerned Transport Department officials of the Government Express buses.

The concerned officer will issue tickets duly making necessary entries about the issue of concession in the Counseling Call Letter.  This concession is eligible for return journey also  to native place after the completion of counseling.
