As scheduled the counselling session for admission into various branches of affiliated engineering colleges are beginning today at 10.30 am. 570 candidates have been called for today's counselling.

Anna University, apart from displaying the vacancy position IN LARGE SCREENS IN THE COUNSELLING CENTRE OF ANNA UNIVERSITY,  under various categories, have made arrangements in their official website to know the VACANCY POSITION. The candidates, who are awaiting their turn can access through Internet and find the present vacancies.



The details include, Branch, College, College code, District and University. From this page you can find the branchwise vacancy, college wise vacancy, which will help you to decide your selection of college and branch.

Once you hit the Send button of respective heading you will be in a best position to find the required position.

Candidates, can make a list of preferred branch and college in a sheet, which will enable them to decide the colleges at the time of counselling.


Counselling is a simple process and no candidate or parents need to worry and disturbed to participated in the process. The officials in the Counselling Centre are very experienced and will give the required guidance to each and every candidate and their parents in a patient way.

We wish a good luck to all the participating candidates in the counselling.

    Sudha, Your counselling will be after 20th July, by that time, seats in the top colleges may not be available. But you will get a seat in CSE branch, but accept the college whatever it may be and study well and try to get placed either through campus or through directly. Good luck and best wishes.

    Deepika, Your counselling falls on 20th July of the I phase counselling at 4.30 pm, and based on last year's cut off, for BC it was 174.5, so You have to be patient for the counselling day for getting your preference. Good luck.
