As per media reports, the application for admission to Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu will be issued by the Anna University, Chennai from 16th May 2011 and the last date for submitting the completed application would be 31st May 2011.


The rank list will be published by the Anna University on 20th June 2011 and the counseling will begin either in the last week of June 2011 or first week of July 2011.

    For lateral entry, separate ad will be issued by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai (Not Anna University - NOTE THIS important point)

    The dates will be entirely different.

    For lateral entry, just wait for the admission notification to be issued - and there is lot of time and we will be updating the information at appropriate time. Be patient.

    Veera, At the Anna University, Chennai campus there is a Centre for Admissions, where you can get the application. Once, the advertisement for issue of application is published, you will find the nearest points where also you can get application.

    GS Your cut off seems to be less. Do you have the required eligibility cut off - just verify and proceed further. Your marks are not at the advantageous position.
