Lot of students have applied for revaluation of marks hoping to get some upward change in their marks, especially in subjects like, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Botany. Yes, even if you get a single mark it will change your ranking position in counseling session.
In the case of high scored students also, they also apply hoping to get upward revision of marks in their favourite subjects, Once you apply for revaluation of marks, the first step is to get the xerox copy of the answer sheet, which will help you to know where your marks stand.
What you have to do in the counseling if there is upward revision in marks ?
All the candidates have already submitted their application for counseling by 31st May 2010 and if there is a favourable change in your marks, you need not worry and need not contact any one. Just wait for the rank list and the schedule of counseling to be published. On the day of counseling equal to that of your marks (when marks of your rank are called for counselling), go to the Anna University counseling centre with the proof of marks and you will be entertained by the Counseling Centre without any sort of question - yes you need not worry and need not run here and there to attend the counseling.
Anna University will clearly give instructions in leading News Papers while publishing the Counseling Schedule, that students who have not received the call letter need not wait and can simply attend the Counseling when the marks equal to that yours are scheduled for counseling.
Be patient and attend the counseling and we wish a good college for your dream academic excellence,

my daughter is got 198 cut off (maths 200, phy 196 and che 196). Can she get anna university CEG campus (or) psg tech, coimbatore for the course of CSE or IT?? and when we are expected to call for couselling, that is I day, 2nd day or 3rd day??

Due to fall in maths marks this year, the cut off of all the candidates may get fluctuated and we cannot predict as of now. Only after the release of rank list, we can decide in a better way. Moreover, your daughter is on the top and there are bright chances to get the desired seat, I hope.

I have applied Physics, Chemistry and Bilogy Photo copies(Tamilnadu board of exams 2010) of the answer sheets of my daughter.

ReplyDeleteCounseling card will be sent on merit basis after preparation of Rank list, which will be released on 18th June. Be patient.
