Anna University which started the first day of counseling for academic branch candidates closed their counseling with a vacant seat of 1,73,010.
Out of the Total available seats, 2329 candidates have been allocated various branches in the first day of counseling.
Out of the total seats of allocation of 2,329 major candidates selected the Branch ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION followed by Computer Science. Next choice of top subject was Mechanical Branch.
On 23rd July 2017, a total 2,898 candidates were called for counseling, of which 558 candidates were absent and 11 candidates skipped the counseling. So, a total of 2,329 candidates were allotted seats in various colleges.
